IT’S MORPHIN TIME! VIDEO AND PHOTOS HAVE EMERGED FROM THE SET OF ‘POWER RANGERS’
It hasn’t been very long since photos of Elizabeth Banks as the rebooted Rita Repulsa hit the internet. Now, with 2017’s ‘Power Rangers,’ well underway filming, we knew it would only be a matter of time before set photos and videos began hitting the web.

Looks like Elizabeth Banks (Rita Repulsa) is going to be wreaking havoc in Angel Grove.
Rita Repulsa is an evil humanoid alienwitch bent on galactic domination. Being a powerful sorceress, Rita has conquered many worlds through the Universe, but she was defeated thousands of years ago by Zordon of Eltar during her failed invasion of Earth.
Imprisoned in a space dumpster by the sage, Rita was cast into space where she would float for ten thousand years before arcing back to the moon in 1993. Once freed, she and her minions reclaimed their headquarters and started a second campaign on Earth to defeat Zordon and take the planet for Lord Zedd. So Rita was the first villain the Power Rangers had to face.

Dacre Montgomery: “There Is A [Power Rangers] Movie In The Works But It’s Not With Me And The Cast”
During a recent interview with Reddit, for ‘Stranger Things: Season 3,’ Dacre Montgomery, who plays Billy on the Netflix series, was probed to find out if we would see the return of a different character of his. Montgomery, notably is known for his role as Jason “The Red Ranger” in 2017’s ‘Power Rangers’ reboot. Montgomery gave fans hope that we would see a return to the big screen for one of the longest running franchises of all-time. He also may disappoint some fans, stating, he doesn’t believe they will continue with the story and cast that starred in the 2017 film.
“I think there is a [Power Rangers] movie in the works but it’s not with me and the cast. So yes [a new Power Rangers movie will happen], but not with us.”
The film [Power Rangers] directed by Dean Israelite boasted a $100 mill budget while only bringing 
home $142.3 mill. [Worldwide] The film went on to earn a 50%. Rotten score, while also bringing home a 65% audience score with 43,717 user rantings. Since then, Hasbro has taken full control of the franchise and back in February were in talks with Paramount Pictures to get a some sort of a reboot off the ground. No official word has been released. But, with San Diego Comic-Con International rapidly approaching, many are hoping for an announcement.

New promo art has arrived giving us a better look at 2017’s ‘Power Rangers’ suits in action. With the movie set to hit theaters in March. Promotion of the upcoming him has ramped up tremendously. Actor Bryan Cranston who is playing Zordon, even went on the offensive while speaking to Huffington Post comparing Power Ranges to ‘The Dark Knight,’ stating:
This is as different a reimagining as the ‘Batman’ television series as it became the ‘Batman’ movie series. You can’t compare those two, and nor can you compare this movie version of the ‘Power Rangers’ to that television series. It’s unrecognizable for the most part. There are tenets of the folklore that you hold onto for sure, but the inspiration is different, and the sensibility of it, and the approach to the film making is completely different.
