DANNY ELFMAN SET TO SCORE ‘JUSTICE LEAGUE,’ MAKING IT THE GREATEST SUPERHERO FILM OF ALL-TIME

Published

on

After news broke of Zack Snyder’s unfortunate departure from the ‘Justice League’ film. Fans were left wondering what changes Joss Whedon would make, to the mostly finished film.  With reshoots well underway, the studio made sure that fans of Snyder knew that his work would not be drastically altered in any way.

That is until Antonius Tom Holkenborg, AKA Junkie XL. Was released from the project and replaced by none other than, in my opinion, one of greatest film composers of all-time, Danny Elfman. Elfman has been in the game for decades, composing such films as Edward Scissorhands, Batman, Spider-Man and more.  He was even tied to ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron.’

Danny Elfman has a dramatic style with highs and lows in his melodies. Coupled with a chorus, Elfman’s scores generally bring movie scenes to the highest level.

Junkie XL. seemed to take the high road on being let go stating:

“As my mentor Hans Zimmer told me — you haven’t made it in Hollywood as a composer until you get replaced on a project. So I guess I finally graduated this week. It pains me to leave the project, but a big thanks to Zack for asking me to part of his vision, and I wish Danny, Joss and Warner Bros all the best with Justice League.”
