BATMAN V SUPERMAN BATMOBILE UNLEASHED: 10SEC BATMOBILE TEASER SPOT

Published

on

The Batmobile has seen many incarnations over the last 30+ years.  Each Batmobile built to represent the different versions of the Dark Knight being portrayed on screen, with some being more flashy than others.  My favorites have always been the darker versions, like the ones brought to us by Director Tim Burton.  Even Christopher Nolan’s tumbler found its way into my heart.  But what about Zack Snyder’s new Batmobile? Will it be a fan favorite?

Snyder has released a 10 second spot, featuring the new ride.

Check out a couple of my favorite versions below and tell us what your favorite is.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

ORIGINAL SUPERMAN THEME TO RETURN FOR ‘JUSTICE LEAGUE!’

Published

on

With the final ‘Justice League’ trailer eminent and rumors flying in all directions about what we can expect from the Zack Snyder/Joss Whedon collaborated film. Fans have been collectively holding their breathe as to who’s side The Man of Steel will be on when he is resurrected. Reports suggest we will see a dark version of Superman, sporting his black costume and angry with the newly formed Justice League for allowing “His World” to end, that being the death of Lois Lane..

It would appear that the composer for the film, Danny Elfman has let slip some fantastic information that may shed some light into what we can expect.

In a recent interview with Billboard Danny Elfman had this to say:

“There are a few little fan moments. I instated a moment of the Wonder Woman theme that Hans Zimmer did for Batman v Superman, but I also had two minutes where I had the pleasure of saying, ‘Let’s do John Williams’ Superman,’ and that for me was heaven, because now I have a melody to twist, and I’m using it in an actually very dark way, in a dark moment. It’s the kind of thing that some fans will notice. Some won’t. It’s a moment where we’re really not sure whose side he’s on.”

It would appear that Danny Elfman was given the green light to include the original/classic Superman theme song composed by the legendary John Williams. It sounds like the song will play at a critical moment, when everyone is trying to figure out just who’s side the man of steel is on and make for a classic scene signaling the return of SUPERMAN!!

MATHEW VAUGHN: “HE’S A BEACON OF LIGHT IN DARKNESS”

Published

on

With ‘Justice League’ nearing and the resurrection of the Man of Steel imminent, fans have begun to wonder what we can expect from a “Superman 2” film. There hasn’t been much confirmed as far as the direction of the film, but some have speculated that we will see the “Rebirth” of Super girl on screen.

A very short list of Directors has emerged and with the recent and unfortunate departure of Zack Snyder due to family issues from the ‘Justice League’ film, one can only assume we will end up with a fresh take on the Man of Steel.

One name that has recently been talked about is ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ Director Mathew Vaughn. In a recent interview with Collider, Vaughn opened up about his possible vision for a Superman film:

“Weirdly if I did do Superman—and I made the mistake of telling someone yesterday I have spoken about it and then wallop (laughs)—I think my main take would be, it’s really boring but make a Superman film. I just don’t feel a proper Superman—I think Donner did it to perfection for that time. Just doing the modern—I wanna do a modern version of the Donner [version]. Go back to the source material… For me Superman is color, feel-good, heroic. He’s a beacon of light in darkness. And that’s what I think Superman should be.”

Though this take sounds exiting, I feel that was what Bryan Singer attempted to pull off with 2006’s ‘Superman Returns.’ The film took in a modest 391 million and was met with harsh criticism. It would be hard to say if Mathew Vaughn would be able to do anything different with this concept. But only time will tell what’s in store, for the last son of krypton.
