SUPER BOWL 2016: MOVIE TRAILERS TO LOOK FORWARD TO THIS SUNDAY

Published

on

According to Claire Groden of Fortune, a 30-second ad costs as much as $5 million, which is 11 percent higher than ads for last year and marks a 75 percent increase since 2005. She explained why many companies don’t scoff at the cost:

Prices are only so high because marketers are willing to pay to access the enormous Super Bowl audience. Some 114.4 million people on average tuned into the 2015 Super Bowl to watch the Seattle Seahawks play the Patriots, making the game the most-watched broadcast in the history of U.S. television. That estimate doesn’t even account for larger viewing groups at private parties, or bars.

There is huge potential for other big budget films such as Captain America: Civil War, Deadpool and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to make an appearance as well.  Reports have stated that some of the stars of these films will be in attendance at the big game.
